Big Night Oot – Join in the Battle of the Stands
With a bumper Friday night crowd attending the Big Night Oot, Newcastle Falcons are challenging their fans to provide the team with a raucous welcome to the pitch for the game against Bath, with a pre-match battle of the stands providing a warm-up.
Ahead of the Falcons’ team entry to the stadium, the 7,000+ fans in the stands are being asked to join together in a rendition of the Blaydon Races, giving a real North East feel to the moments immediately ahead of kick off.
To get the crowd set, Chris Dakers and the North East Singing Waiters will take to the pitch from 7:20pm, leading the stands in a battle against each other and get everyone familiar with the words.
Lyrics will be handed out around the ground by members of The Cast and will also be visible on the stadium big screen allowing everybody to be involved.
