Book your group in for The Big One

Tickets sales continue strongly for Newcastle Falcons’ visit to St James’ Park in March 2018, with large orders starting to come in for The Big One against Northampton Saints from regular group attendees.

With tickets starting from just £10 for adults and £5 for Under 16s, groups of 15 or more to the game on March 24 are eligible to claim a free ticket for the organiser.

For rugby clubs who are members of the Falcons’ Club Connections programme, there is a range of group experience packages available designed to make the game an even bigger occasion.

Any club or school purchasing 50 tickets or more will be eligible to have a junior member as one of the day’s official mascots and run out with a member of the Newcastle Falcons team or to have ten places in the matchday guard of honour.

These experiences are limited to the first 15 clubs in the case of mascots and 10 clubs in the case of the guard of honour, as the club try to involve as many members of the grassroots rugby community as possible.

That desire to be as inclusive as possible also sees the Falcons in talks with the CB’s for Cumbria, Durham and Northumberland to allow for club games to kick off earlier, allowing as many people as possible to head to St James’ Park and join everyone at The Big One.

Alongside these groups, the Falcons are also appealing to clubs from the wider rugby community to consider combining attendance at The Big One with a tour to the North East.

For any clubs considering making a trip over that weekend, the Falcons Community Foundation are able to put touring sides in contact with local teams to arrange fixtures where appropriate. For further information please contact gavin.beasley@newcastle-falcons.co.uk or a member of the community team on 0191 214 2866.

For groups looking to attend and show their support for Falcons legend Doddie Weir in his fight against MND, the commitment to make a £10 from every Category 2, £25 adult ticket and a £5 donation from every £20 concession and £10 under 16 ticket remains, however, free organisers tickets are not available in this category.
