Carreras called up by Argentina
The 22-year-old has spent the past fortnight playing for an Argentina XV, beating Georgia 30-24 in Kautasi before scoring in last weekend’s 48-35 victory over Portugal in Lisbon.
Carreras has been capped five times by Los Pumas, scoring two tries, and he now joins a squad containing fellow Falcons Matias Orlando and Matias Moroni.
Saturday’s series decider against Scotland in Santiago del Estero kicks off at 8.10pm UK time, and is being shown live on Sky Sports.
