Doddie’s Ride to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease
The foundation was set up following Newcastle Falcons and Scotland great Doddie Weir’s Motor Neurone Disease diagnosis, raising funds and awareness for the currently-incurable condition.
Organisers are hoping to attract 1,000 riders for the open road event, which starts and finishes at Melrose RFC.
Two distance options are available to cater for all cycling abilities, with a 60-mile and 11-mile course.
