EASTER CAMPS A HIT WITH YOUNGSTERS
Six venues including the Falcons’ very own Kingston Park was used with youngsters receiving rugby training, a t-shirt, a voucher for the Club Shop and a free ticket for last Sunday’s Aviva Premiership match at home to Saracens.
There was even the chance for those attending the Kingston Park camp to see the Webb Ellis Cup in all its glory as part of the countdown to the 2015 Rugby World Cup held in England. Three World Cup matches will take place at Newcastle’s St James’ Park next year with excited juniors posing for pictures with the famous trophy.
All camps had a visit from a series of Falcons players, who handed out tips and advice to the budding stars of the future.
The next camp takes place at Kingston Park during half-term on the 27 and 28 May. To book a place on the camp visit [www.rugbycamps.co.uk/newcastle-falcons][1]
