FALCONS HOST BIGGEST FESTIVAL OF THE SEASON
64 teams from across the North East, Cumbria and Yorkshire descended on the home of the Falcons with all sides playing at least four games each on the west pitch and Bullocksteads prior to the match.
Academy players as well as senior figures Rory Clegg, Kieran Brookes and Lee Smith all attended the festival and signed autographs and posed for photos with the budding stars of the future.
And Kingston Park was awash with colour for the televised clash in the afternoon as youngsters soaked up the atmosphere for what was the biggest attendance of the season.
During the half-time break Novos Under-9s took on Percy Park Under-9s, while Carlisle and Hartlepool played a display game of grassroots rugby at under-10s. BT Sport, who were televising the match live, even showed snippets of the youngsters in action to underline the family atmosphere that was had by all inside Kingston Park.
The club would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended and hope that everyone enjoyed their day.
