Just over two weeks remain until Newcastle Falcons’ annual beach festival takes place on Tynemouth Longsands, with the event shaping up to be better than ever.

Held on Saturday July 23rd, the festival sees two events, the Flock junior fan club’s summer party and the Falcons Community Foundation’s Beach Touch Rugby tournament, combine to provide a fun filled day at the coast.

Kicking off at 11am the Summer Party will see Falcons players and community coaches overseeing a host of rugby activities and other beach games, alongside bouncy castles, face painters and the Foundation’s Kick for Goal challenge.

For the more competitively minded, places are still available for teams in the touch rugby festival which also begins at 11am.
