Sinoti has been named in the Samoa tour squad ahead of Saturday’s Pacific Nations Cup opener, with Goneva in the Fiji squad training for the match in the Fijian capital of Suva.

Summer signing Logovi’i Mulipola is also in the Samoa squad for the tournament, fellow Falcon Tevita Cavubati absent from the Fiji group due to injury.

Newcastle scrum-half Sonatake Takulua is among the Tonga players in contention for a place in their side against Georgia on Saturday, that match also being played in Suva as part of a double-header.

Flanker Mark Wilson, meanwhile, is with the England squad in South Africa as they prepare for Saturday’s series opener against the Springboks in Johannesburg.

Newcastle centre Chris Harris completes the list of Falcons players on full international duty this weekend, his Scotland squad taking on Canada in Edmonton in the early hours of Sunday morning.

In the Junior World Championship, summer signing Guy Graham is with the Scotland Under-20s squad in France. Their next assignment comes on Thursday night when they tackle England in Beziers.
