Falcons trio on England U18s duty in France
They took on France in the town of Saint-Raphael, losing 28-5.
Ben Douglas is the son of former Newcastle Gosforth scrum-half Steve Douglas, while France Under-18s full-back Maxime Tetlow, who also played in the game, is the son of another Newcastle Gosforth old boy, Matt Tetlow.
England Under-18s’ next game is on Sunday March 20 when they take on Wales Under-18s at Taunton RFC in a 2pm kick-off.
They will then take part in the Six Nations Festival in France between April 5-18, wher they will play against Wales, Scotland and Italy.
The exact dates and locations of those games will be confirmed in due course.
