Newcastle Falcons’ Aviva Premiership match against Leicester Tigers on Sunday has been confirmed as a 10,100 sell-out at Kingston Park Stadium.

The ‘full house’ signs have gone up for the first time since the visit of Wasps back in May 2008, the Falcons enjoying a flying start to the season which sees them fourth in the Aviva Premiership and top of their European Challenge Cup group.

Managing director Mick Hogan said: “This capacity crowd has been a long time coming and is due reward for a huge amount of work by both the on and off-field staff at the club.

“We have put in place extra bars and stewards to deal with the increased attendance but our supporters can play their part by getting to the ground early and allowing additional time for ticket collection, bag searches and turnstile entry.”

Parking at the stadium is already sold out so supporters are advised to consider using public transport, with two Metro Stations (Bank Foot and Kingston Park) just a short walk from the ground.

Alternative parking provisions will be in place at Druid Park from 1pm, and at the following Metro Stations: Callerton Parkway, Bank Foot and Kingston Park.

The Tap & Tackle East Stand clubhouse bar will be open from 9.30 am, with turnstiles and other stadium bars open from 1.30 pm. Additional bottle bars will be open in the West and South Stands, with pre-pouring of draught drinks around the peak times of kick-off and half-time to speed up service times. An additional three mobile bar units are in place around the field, including the new double decker Bus Bar.
