Newcastle Falcons have seen several familiar faces named in the 2023/24 BUCS Super Rugby team of the season.

Lock-forward Finn Baker and scrum-half Max Pepper both feature, with incoming twin props Callum and Connor Hancock also named in the university league’s team of the season.

Pepper, who scored a try on his first Falcons appearance in the Premiership Rugby Cup and made his Gallagher Premiership debut away at Bristol Bears, was also named BUCS Super Rugby player of the season.

Baker also earned his Falcons debut this season, coming on as a replacement in our Premiership Rugby Cup clash with Caldy RFC.

The Hancock duo recently signed one-year deals to join our Senior Academy for the 2024/25 season.
