FULL 2014-15 KIT RELEASED
Newcastle Falcons have today unveiled the shirts the team will sport away from home in the Aviva Premiership and in the European Rugby Challenge Cup for the forthcoming season.
The new designs from the club’s official kit supplier Gilbert (pictured above) will see the Falcons squad represent the North East around the country in a stylish sky blue shirt with white and silver detailing, accompanied by white shorts and sky blue socks.
For the European fixtures, the players will be turned out in a predominantly maroon shirt that will feature a feather motif on the shoulders and arms. Just as the home shirt integrates elements of the club logo into the design the European shirt has similar obvious links to the Falcons with the unique feather design. The European kit is completed with white shorts and maroon socks.
Both kits will proudly display the full Newcastle Falcons crest. The away shirt, like the home kit has the Fairstone logo across the front. The European kit carries the .logo of Marketstar Investment Management, the asset management division of the Moneygate Group who are the parent company of main club sponsor Fairstone.
Speaking at the unveiling of the new kits, Newcastle Falcons Commercial Director Duncan Edward said: “We’re very pleased with these two new designs from Gilbert which complement our new home shirt perfectly. It gives us three very stylish shirts for the season ahead, which we are sure our fans are going to approve of.”
“All three kits offer something a little different. The home carries our traditional black and white with silver detailing, the away offers a more traditional rugby design and the Euro has a unique design. Gilbert have definitely created a kit that will be instantly recognisable as a Falcons shirt.”

Our aim was to create designs which were new and stylish yet unique to the club, hence the return to the full Newcastle Falcons logo and the detailing on the shoulders of the Home and Euro shirt. Hopefully we have achieved this and given the fans three shirts to be proud of.”
