Get Active this January with Newcastle Rugby Foundation
Looking for something to beat the January blues and keep you active all year round? The Newcastle Rugby Foundation offers a variety of rugby programmes to suit all interests and abilities, including Walking Rugby, Disability Rugby, Touch Rugby and the highly anticipated Falcons Fit 12-week health and wellbeing programme.
Join us on Friday, January 17 at our fixture against Montpellier Rugby to find out more. You’ll be able to meet members of the Foundation team in the West Stand before the game, watch half-time displays showcasing the programmes in action and you’ll also be able to hear inspiring stories from participants.

Walking Rugby (in association with Sport England) Described as the “sport’s new sensation” by the Daily Telegraph, Walking Rugby is a slower-paced, non-contact version of the game suitable for people of all skill levels.

Disability Rugby (in association with Premiership Rugby’s Project Rugby) | This initiative provides individuals with learning disabilities the opportunity to access and enjoy rugby. Activities focus on building skills and confidence, with participants tackling new challenges and competing in matches within the LD Super League.

Falcons Fit (in association with Nuffield Health and Sport England) | This transformative 12-week health and wellbeing programme is free and designed for individuals aged 16 and over who want to improve their lifestyle, increase physical activity, or enhance mental well-being.

Summer Touch Rugby | Touch Rugby is a fast-paced, social, non-contact form of the game, perfect for summer evenings starting in May. Teams play at least two fixtures per night on the main pitch at Kingston Park over an 8-week season, with the league champions crowned at the end.
