Goodbye January, Hello Six Nations!
As the rugby world prepares for the start of this year’s RBS Six Nations competition the Tap & Tackle invites you to join them in watching games live at the home of rugby in the North East, Kingston Park Stadium.
This Saturday, 6th February will see the game between France and Italy (ko 2.25pm) and the hotly anticipated Calcutta Cup match between Scotland and England (ko 4.50pm) screened live in the bar while a number of community games take place outside on the stadium’s main pitch.
And as if that weren’t enough to whet your appetite for an afternoon of rugby, the Tap & Tackle will also be running special happy hour promotions from 3-4pm and again from 7-8pm, offering 10% off drinks, and hot roast sandwiches plus sides for only £5!
Later into the evening the bar will play host to fantastic five piece band Gotcha, starting their set at 9pm and continuing until late.
Throughout the day draught lager and cider will start from £2.80 a pint with bottles of wine available from £12.80.
