Join us for a ‘rugby club day out’ on Dec 28
Kicking things off at 12 noon is a three-way clash between local rugby clubs Prudhoe & Stocksfield, Ponteland and Border Park.
The teams will play three 30-minute games between them, with one club resting while the other two play.
Following that is the match between a Newcastle Falcons XV and Melrose, playing for the Doddie’s Club Trophy at 3pm.
The day then concludes with Tynedale Colts against Melrose Colts, kicking off at 5.15pm.
Supporters wishing to watch any of these games will require a match ticket.

The day is helping to raise funds for research into Motor Neurone Disease, the currently-incurable condition with which Falcons and Melrose legend Doddie Weir has been diagnosed.
