Kingston Park to host Military v Cancer double-header
Kingston Park is set to host a Military vs Cancer double-header on Saturday June 22 with the UK Armed Forces RFC and North of England Select XV both putting forward men’s and women’s sides.
Military vs Cancer is a charity that brings together all three military services, businesses and people in industry to help support those who are battling with cancer, aiming to inspire people to live their lives to the fullest.
The fixture will be the second event of its kind at the home of Newcastle Falcons, with the same tie taking place in 2023.
More than 2,300 supporters attended the launch event where the North of England Select XV emerged 42-24 winners over the UK Armed Forces RFC.
Bigger and better than the previous year, the fixtures will see two games between the sides with the women’s tie kicking off at 1pm and the men’s clash getting underway at 3.15pm.
Alongside a feast of entertainment on the pitch, there will be plenty of entertainment and activities taking place off it.
