Match-day guide: Falcons v Caldy RFC

Turnstiles open at 1.30pm, with kick-off set for 3pm.

Our club shop and ticket office will be open from 9am on match day.

The fixture against Caldy RFC is included in all 2024/25 seasonal membership packages.

Match tickets for Caldy RFC are currently on general sale with prices from as little as £14 for adults and £8 for U18s. Concessionary pricing is also available for 18–23-year-olds and supporters over the age of 65.

Ticket prices will rise on match day so be sure to grab yours quick!

Newcastle Falcons welcome Caldy RFC to Kingston Park this Sunday (February 9, kick-off: 3pm) in the Premiership Rugby Cup.

The Falcons currently sit at the top of Pool A with a perfect 100% record, having secured maximum points from their four pool matches.

Caldy RFC travel to the North East still searching for their first win in the Premiership Rugby Cup but showed resilience in their last outing, delivering a spirited performance at home against Sale Sharks before falling 28-14.

Aiming to make it five wins from five against the RFU Championship side, the Falcons promise plenty of action on the pitch—and off it. For full details on everything happening at Kingston Park, see below.

TICKETS

Match tickets for Falcons v Caldy RFC remain on general sale from as little as £14 for adults and just £8 for U18s. Concessionary pricing is also available for 18–23-year-olds or supporters over the age of 65. Be sure to grabs yours before prices rise on match day. Click HERE to secure your place.

Once you’ve purchased a match ticket, these will be sent to the email address you provided, attached to your purchase confirmation – these can either be printed, viewable on your smartphone or added to your phone’s digital wallet.

2024/25 season ticket holders will be able to access the ground with your digital season ticket. If you’re a supporter with a physical card for the season, this will also grant you access to the stadium.

ENTERTAINMENT

We’ll have live music from a talented local artist, Matty Grimes, in our Street Eats hospitality suite this match day. If you’re looking to add a little bit of luxury to your match day, you can purchase a bolt-on upgrade to access all the perks of the package. The Newcastle Rugby Foundation will host a special U7s and U8s rugby festival prior to kick off, with over 86 teams from across the region taking part. Registration will take place at 10.45am in the north west corner of the stadium, with games kicking off at 11.30am. For any questions relating to the festival, please contact gavin.beasley@newcastle-falcons.co.uk.

For the game against Caldy, the Foundation will also be hosting a special Junior Falcons Funzone located on level one of Kingston Park Stadium’s West Stand. Featuring exciting activities and games for our youngest supporters to enjoy, the funzone will be open from 1.30pm until 2.45pm. The usual Foundation Flutter raffle will take place ahead of kick-off. Purchase a ticket for your chance to win a great prize. There are stations situated in both the South and West Stand concourses to purchase tickets from as well as a roaming seller throughout the stadium bowl.

Supporters are also invited to join us in the Players’ Bar after the final whistle. This is located on the first floor of the West Stand and gives you the opportunity to mix and mingle with the squad as well as enjoy some live entertainment.

FOOD & DRINK

Supporters can expect a feast on and off the pitch this match day, with a wide selection of bars and food stalls open throughout the stadium.

Food kiosks will be open across our South and West Stand concourses and the East Stand Tap & Tackle bar will be open serving drinks.

Please be reminded that Kingston Park is a cashless stadium, and all bars and food outlets will only accept card payments.

COVERAGE

Supporters are advised that the 3pm kick-off at Kingston Park is not being televised or live-streamed.

There will however be live commentary on the BBC Rugby website or you can follow our official X feed for your usual in-game updates.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please be reminded that Kingston Park is a cashless venue.

Kingston Park is also NO SMOKING stadium. Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is not permitted anywhere in the stadium pre, during or post-match.

Our CAST volunteers will be conducting ticket checks throughout the game to ensure supporters are situated in their appropriate seats.

After the game has finished, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet the squad. As well as their usual lap of the stadium, supporters are also invited onto the pitch for any autographs and selfies!

We do however ask that you DO NOT enter the pitch until instructed to do so by our stewarding team and stadium announcer.

This is to ensure the safety of both the supporters and the playing squad and will be approx. 10 minutes after the final whistle.
