Our 2023/24 top performers
There’s no hiding that 2023/24 was a disappointing campaign for the Falcons but throughout the season there have been some impressive individual statistics.
Prop-forward Adam Brocklebank has been a consistent feature and topped our list for most appearances with 26, across all competitions. The 28-year-old featured in all but one league games for the Falcons and appeared in every single EPCR Challenge Cup and Premiership Rugby Cup pool stage fixtures. In the club’s opening game of the 2023/24 season away at Ampthill, Brocklebank also became a Falcons centurion, making his 100th appearance for the club.
Hooker Jamie Blamire ended the season as our top try scorer with eight to his name. Six coming in the Gallagher Premiership and a single try a piece in the Premiership Rugby Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup. The 26-year-old finished the season with an impressive flurry, dotting down three times in our final two games of the campaign.
Lastly, taking the top spot for most points scored is fly-half Brett Connon. Carlisle-born, Connon recorded 107 points in 2023/24, a season where he also made his 100th club appearance and surpassed 500 total points for the Falcons. Not a bad shift from the 27-year-old.
