Pick up your stack cup at Saturday’s game
Having proved popular at the home game with Bath when it was launched back on January 6, the scheme significantly cuts down on match-day waste and allows supporters the opportunity to acquire a memento of four Newcastle stars.
Sinoti Sinoti, Evan Olmstead, Will Welch and Mark Wilson are the quartet of players whose images feature on the first batch of the one-pint plastic stack cups. Once these are all gone the club will issue new designs featuring another four Falcons stars, the stack cup’s design making it easier to carry multiple drinks back to your viewing position.
When supporters order their first pint on match-day they pay an additional £1 deposit on each stack cup. Each time they return for another drink their dirty cup is replaced with a clean one, and at the end of the day they can either return it and recoup their £1 deposit, or simply take it home.
The same details apply for the Falcons’ two-pinters, with two dedicated return stations in the West Stand and one each in the South and East Stands.
Ahead of Saturday’s 5pm kick-off v Ospreys there will be happy hour prices from 3.30pm until 4.30pm in the East Stand bars, South Stand and West concourse, plus the usual free curry 30 minutes after full-time in the 1877 Bar.
Tickets for Saturday’s game are still available by calling 0871 226 6060, from the stadium in person or by [**clicking here**.][1]
Season ticket members are also reminded they are entitled to a 20% discount on replica away shirts from 9am on Friday until the club shop closes after the game, in-store only.
