Pivotal Euro visit of Lyon on Sunday
The Frenchmen were 42-12 victors last Friday when the two teams met at Matmut, Stadium – a result which left Newcastle third in their group.
Only the top team in the group plus the three best runners up from the five pools make it through to the quarter-finals and, with unbeaten Ospreys riding high in top spot, Newcastle need a result against Lyon to give themselves a fighting chance.
The Falcons were victorious on the only other occasion the two teams have met in North East England, back in November 2011 when they produced a 27-19 home victory.
Tickets for Sunday’s 3pm kick-off are available by calling 0871 226 6060, [**clicking here**][1] or from the stadium on the day, with season ticket members reminded that this game is included in their package.
