Please read about that the great work these businesses are doing in their respective fields, and consider supporting companies who support the Falcons.

**HFF CIVIL ENGINEERING**

HFF Civil Engineering Ltd is a family-run business specialising in haulage, plant hire, aggregates, waste removal and timber.

Having been in the industry for over 20 years the company believes in core values and that teamwork really does make a difference.

Stephen Charlton, managing director, is a huge rugby fan, having played himself when he was younger.

Having been a player sponsor for the past three seasons, Stephen said: “I believe in supporting players’ potential and helping them achieve their goals.”

HFF Civil Engineering currently sponsor South African back row Philip van der Walt, and have done since his arrival from the Sharks. They have also previously sponsored Pedro Bettencourt during his time in the North East.

**THE BLACKBIRDS**

The Blackbirds are a group of four avid South Stand Falcons supporters who have sponsored a player with Newcastle Falcons for the past eight years.

Sponsoring a player seemed the ‘next step’ to the group after following the Falcons, home and abroad, for too many years to mention.

Currently, Adam Radwan is the player getting an extra ‘shout-out’ from The Blackbirds, who also sponsored Simon Hammersley during his time as a Falcon.

The Blackbirds are looking forward to getting back to the South Stand to support the whole team in their usual enthusiastic way!

**A1 TANKS & STAG SPORTS**

The Falcons journey started in 2009 for A1 Tanks managing director John Marshall and family, when a Christmas gift led them to Kingston Park to see Falcons v Leeds Tykes on December 27, 2009.

They enjoyed the whole experience so much that the following week they purchased a season ticket each, and have been season ticket holders ever since, adding youngest daughter Anna to the clan over recent seasons.

Being a business owner, John decided in 2010-11 that he’d like to get a little more involved with the club, and support them through our player sponsorship packages.

Their first player sponsorship was Gcobani Bobo, who John notes was an incredible character and person, and since then they’ve maintained their annual sponsorship through A1 Tank Services Limited (installers and suppliers of both domestic and commercial oil storage tanks throughout the North East and Yorkshire regions) of the following players: Luke Eves, Rory Lawson, Tim Swinson, Phil Godman, Tom Catterick, Santiago Socino and now Sean Robinson.

John said: “All the players we have sponsored have been very personable, and for any business owners out there who are looking at marketing and advertising opportunities I would not hesitate to recommend the player sponsorship packages. We are now in our third season of sponsoring the legend that is Sean Robinson.”

Next season, the sponsorship will be renewed through an alternative business which John recently became a business partner in, Stag Sports.

Stag Sports are high performance sportswear manufacturing company based in West Yorkshire with a great history in rugby league, rugby union, cricket and cycling – a wide and diverse sporting portfolio including clubs such as Leeds Rhinos and Wigan in the past, as well as currently partnering with rugby union and cricket clubs in the region.

What makes them stand out is that all on-field wear (and much of the off-field) is produced HERE in the North of England at their factory, ensuring high-quality performance clothing combined with the shortest guaranteed turnaround in the UK.
