Pedro Rubiolo joined Newcastle Falcons in January 2023 on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

Capped by Argentina at just 19 years of age, The 6 foot 3 forward made his test debut away against world champions South Africa in September, 2022.

Rubiolo is able to play in the back row or second row, and has played in his homeland for the Jaguares XV as well as being capped by Argentina Under-20s.

Making his Falcons debut away to Cardiff in the EPCR Challenge Cup, Rubiolo played eight senior games in his maiden campaign and scored his first Newcastle try at Sale Sharks during the last game of the season.

Playing for Los Pumas in Rugby World Cup 2023, he made 10 appearances for the Falcons during 2023-24 before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury during the Challenge Cup win at Perpignan.
