PREMIERSHIP RUGBY 7s – ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
With just over 48 hours remaining until the final group stage of the 2014 Premiership Rugby 7s series gets underway at the Northern Echo Arena, Newcastle Falcons would like to provide the following information to supporters to ensure they make the most of their evening at the country’s largest dedicated club rugby stadium.
**Advanced Ticket Sales**
These will continue via Darlington Mowden Park until 5pm on Friday 1st August and until 12Noon on Saturday 2nd August from the Falcons box office, hotline and website.
After these times, all tickets will need to be purchased at the Northern Echo Arena on entry. Please note on day ticket sales at the turnstiles are **CASH ONLY**. However card payments can be processed via the West Stand ticket office
**Supporters Coaches**
Supporters who have pre booked a space on one of the supporters coaches to Darlington are advised to arrive at Kingston Park no later than 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time of 5:00pm to ensure a prompt set off.
These coaches will depart the Northern Echo Arena at 10:30pm for return to Kingston Park.
**Stadium Opening**
Gates at the Arena will open from 5pm while the West Stand ticket office will be open from 4:30pm where any pre paid tickets requiring collection can be picked up from.
Ticket sales for the evening will also be available from this ticket office and from turnstiles in the stadium’s South Stand.
**Bars**
Three concourse bars will open alongside stadium turnstiles at 5pm. Two of these are located in the South Stand, where supporters will be sat for the evening, while an additional facility will be open in the West Stand.
For supporters wishing to spend longer at the stadium and making a day of the 7s, Darlington Mowden Park’s clubhouse bar, Crossbar 2, will be open 11:30am. For any supporters who are used to DMP match days, please be aware you will not be able to access the stadium via Crossbar 2 and you will need to go through a turnstile.
**Catering**
Two food units will be open in the South Stand concourses serving a range of fare including hot dog’s, pies, pasties, pulled pork sandwiches, cold sandwiches and a range of snacks and soft drinks.
**Games**
The main action gets underway when Falcons and Leicester kick off at 7:15pm. Across the evening a further five matches take place with the final game of the group, Falcons v London Welsh scheduled to get underway around 9:30pm.
In addition to the high octane on field action, entertainment will also be provided by the Crystal 7’s cheerleaders and live music in the concourses after the event.
