Newcastle Falcons’ Ben Redshaw starts on the wing for England Under-20s on Friday when they take on their French counterparts in Pau.

The 8pm UK-time kick-off is being shown live on BBC iPlayer and BBC Rugby website, with fellow Falcons Jacob Oliver, Ben Douglas and Oliver Spencer all named on the bench.

England remain unbeaten in this year’s Under-20s Six Nations, winning their first three games and drawing 32-32 at home to Ireland last time out.

England top the standings by a single point going into the final round of matches, with head coach Mark Mapletoft saying: “The team are incredibly excited for Friday night.

“These are the types of fixtures we all want to be part of in rugby, and we’ll savour the opportunity we now have.

“I’ve been impressed with the resilient mindset of our team after last week’s result, and it’s a strong reminder to myself, Andy Titterrell and the coaches of what a special group we’re lucky to possess this year.

“The team have worked extremely hard and are intent on leaving their mark on this fixture, and this tournament overall, against what will be one of our biggest challenges yet in Pau.”
