Saturday night slot for Zebre Euro clash
The Kingston Park clash will kick off at 8pm, and is not being televised live in the UK.
The Falcons are still battling for progression through to the round of 16 and a potential home tie in the knockout rounds.
Newcastle defeated Worcester 31-26 at home in their opening game and then won 15-14 away to French club Biarritz in round two.
Covid cases meant the cancellation of the Falcons’ trip to Toulon and a 28-0 defeat, leaving the home game against Zebre as pivotal to their progress in the competition.
The top three teams from each pool and the highest-ranked fourth-placed club, as well as the three clubs ranked 9 to 11 from each of the two Heineken Champions Cup pools, will qualify for the one-leg Round of 16 on the weekend of April 15/16/17.
That means ten teams going through from the Challenge Cup pools, and six dropping down from the Champions Cup.
