Save £5 with advanced booking for The Big One
The Big One sees Newcastle Falcons playing at St James’ Park on Saturday March 23 in a 5.30pm Gallagher Premiership kick-off against Sale Sharks.
Tickets will be available to buy on the day from the St James’ Park box office, but will cost £5 more than those purchased before game day.
More than 20,000 tickets have already been sold for a game which last season smashed the Falcons’ previous record club attendance, a crowd of 30,174 seeing them beat Northampton Saints 25-22.
Similar levels of excitement are already surrounding next Saturday’s fixture, which includes a fan plaza outside the stadium.
The 5.30pm kick-off time offers families the chance to get home at a reasonable hour, and with the final whistle due just before 7.30pm there is the opportunity for other supporters to enjoy the Newcastle nightlife post-match given the stadium’s city-centre location.
With no club football that weekend due to the international break, there’s no better opportunity for new supporters to sample the speed and skill of professional rugby, with no segregation and the freedom to drink alcohol in the stands.
