Traffic update – October 28
Supporters driving to Kingston Park Stadium for Sunday’s Premiership Rugby Cup clash against Exeter (KO 3pm) are advised that road-works continue to be in place on Brunton Road and are expected to affect the time taken to access the stadium.
Two-way traffic lights will be in place on Brunton Road and will remain in situ on Sunday.
Though they will be manually controlled, supporters driving to the game are urged to allow extra time for their journeys and to arrive early.
In order to minimise the impact on supporters attending Sunday’s game, those who have yet to make their travel arrangements are urged to consider using the Tyne & Wear Metro to get to the ground.
Kingston Park Stadium is served by two stations, Kingston Park and Bank Foot with both approximately seven minutes walk away.
For supporters who need to drive to the match, the club strongly advises that they approach the stadium from the western end of Brunton Road, via the junction with Ponteland Road.
