Tri Counties team named for Sunday
This Sunday sees the final game of the Under 16s county season. After a heavy defeat to Yorkshire, 34 – 12, the Cumbria Northumberiand and Durham (CND) team are looking for an impressive last performance against Lancashire.
During last weekend’s game CND struggled to compete with the physicality of Yorkshire and the opposition’s intent was felt after a couple of minutes as they worked their way up field manfully, breaking the first up tackles of CND.
The opposing team scored fairly easily as CND were still coming to terms with the power of Yorkshire. CND managed a couple of well worked tries, with Charlie Wilson and David Whittle finishing of the moves while Joe Pickering kicked 1 of the conversions.
Kicking off at 11.30am this Sunday (9th November), the game against Lancashire will be played at Giggleswick School, Settle, North Yorkshire, BD24 0DE.

All players are expected to be at the school, ready and changed for 10.30am. Players must bring own boots and protective equipment, full match kit will be provided.
