TU’IFUA DISCIPLINARY VERDICT

Tuesday 26 March 2013 Written by: Adam

Tu’ifua, who was cited following the RFU Championship match against Rotherham, was suspended for two weeks after being found guilty of Dangerous Charging, contrary to law 10.4(g).

On 11 March, prior to the RFU hearing, the club held an internal disciplinary hearing where it imposed an interim suspension of three weeks pending the official RFU judgement.

On this occasion, the club has decided to uphold its initial sanction. Tuifua is therefore free to play again on 1 April 2013.

In the other hearing Robinson, who was red carded while playing for Tynedale RFC, was suspended for one week after being found guilty of Punching or Striking, contrary to law 10.4(a).

Robinson is therefore free to play again on 1 April 2013.
