University clash to kickstart ‘Big Night Oot’
The BUCS Super Rugby clash is a 4.45pm kick-off on the main field ahead of the Falcons’ match at 8pm, with entry to the university game included in the ticket price.
Northumbria are now under the tutelage of former Falcons prop Darren Fearn as they welcome the unbeaten league leaders on the ‘Big Night Oot’, as Kingston Park prepares for its biggest crowd of the season.
As well as a double dose of rugby action there is free curry approximately half an hour after the end of the Falcons game, with ‘Curry Corner’ extended to both the East and West Stand bars.
The Sponge Divers will be playing post-match music for an hour after the final whistle in the West Stand concourse, while supporters can enjoy a DJ and karaoke until closing time in the Tap & Tackle.
