VIDEO: Relive the 2016/17 Big Bash
Newcastle Falcons celebrated a season of success at the annual Big Bash on May 9, and Falcons TV was on hand to document the evening’s events.
A group of over 250 fans, players, coaches, partners and staff gathered in the West Stand at Kingston Park Stadium as Player of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season, Community Player of the Season and Try of the Season awards were handed out.
Bringing the curtain down on a season that saw the Falcons take 10 Aviva Premiership wins, the best total in the competition for 12 years, the highest final league position in 10 years, the most try bonus points for 16 years and a 10% rise in average attendance, it provided a fitting send-off into the off-season.
