Live rugby returns to Kingston Park as Newcastle Falcons host Bedford Blues in Round 2 of the Premiership Rugby Cup pool stages.

Kicking off at 7:45pm Friday, September 15, here is everything you need to know ahead of the fixture:


Tickets for our first home game of the season are available to purchase HERE. You can secure your place at Kingston Park for just £15 for adults and £7 for U18s.

Season ticket holders are reminded that the fixture IS included in your membership, and you can collect your season ticket pack at the game from our East Stand ticket office. You can also collect your exclusive season ticket hat at this point too.

Stadium parking for the fixture is £10 for supporters and available on a first come first served basis. We strongly encourage booking in advance to avoid any disappointment. You can purchase your car parking pass by clicking HERE.

Local parking restrictions are in place on the surrounding streets, meaning that anyone parking on the main road or in the housing estates near to Kingston Park Stadium will receive a parking ticket.

Please respect our neighbours when driving to events at the stadium.

Park and ride facilities are available at several local Metro stations, offering all-day parking. Stations offering park and ride include:

  • Bank Foot (within walking distance of the ground)
  • Kingston Park (within walking distance of the ground)
  • Callerton Parkway
  • Heworth
  • Northumberland Park

As mentioned, the stadium is also served by Kingston Park and Bank Foot Metro stations, both of which are a five-minute walk away. Both stations are on the Airport branch of the Tyne and Wear Metro with trains running every 15 minutes. Find out more HERE.

Stagecoach will be running their usual X47 bus service, which picks up and drops off directly outside Kingston Park Stadium. Single tickets are available from £2 for adults and 60p for under-16s. Day passes are available at £4.50 for adults and £1.10 for under-16s. Find out more HERE.


The club shop and ticket office based in the East Stand of Kingston Park will be open from 9am until 30 minutes after the full-time whistle.

Newcastle Falcons’ new home and away kits will be available to purchase as well as the latest range of teamwear.


Newcastle Falcons will be providing live commentary on their Twitter page, @falconsrugby.


Turnstiles for the fixture will open 90 minutes before kick-off at 6:15pm.

The West Stand concourse and East Stand Tap & Tackle will be open for all your food and drink requirements. For this fixture, the South Stand concourse will only be open for access to toilets. North and South stand terrace holders can use the bars and other facilities in the West concourse and our East stand bar.  

Prior to kick-off and acting as a curtain raiser to the Bedford fixture, Gosforth ACE will be taking part in two friendly fixtures against Chilean touring teams, kicking off at 4:30pm.

Entry is included with your match ticket and can be made through our East Stand Tap & Tackle.

Please head to the West Stand reception ahead of kick-off where you will be directed to your suite or table by a member of our fantastic hospitality team. Hospitality attendees will need to present their digital ticket on arrival. 


The East Stand Tap & Tackle and West Stand concourse will be your port of call for food & drink this match day. Along with West Stand concourse where there will be two food kiosks and two bars open, as well as a pop-up coffee shop with grab as you go confectionary.

Take full advantage of our special happy hour at this weekend’s fixture – between 6:30pm and 7:30pm, supporters will receive 20% discount on both pints and two-pinter drinks.

There will also be a single food van situated within the stadium bowl.


Newcastle Falcons host Bedford Blues in Round 2 of the Premiership Rugby Cup with kick-off set for 7:45pm.


Returning for another season we have a new look Falcons Flyer challenge. Race against a Falcons player virtually from try-line to half-way and earn you place on the season’s leaderboard.

Should you finish the season top of the leaderboard, you will win a special prize from the club.


Post-match our concourse bars and the Tap & Tackle will remain open so you can stay with us a little longer. Then, an hour after the game our bars on the middle floor of West Stand opened to all match-day attendees. Head up for your chance to mix and mingle with the squad and coaching team and to enjoy some live entertainment.
