Women’s World Cup arrives at Kingston Park
Last Sunday Newcastle Falcons were proud to welcome the Women’s Rugby World Cup trophy to their Kingston Park ground.
Brought home from last summer’s tournament in France by a victorious England team following their thrilling tournament final match against Canada.
Having spent the morning at a girls’ rugby tournament during our friendly festival in Whitley Bay, the trophy made its way to Kingston Park along with many of the festival’s participants, where it was joined on a tour of the pitch by girls from the Under 15 and Under 16 Northumberland county squad.
